Meet the Doctor
During your complimentary consultation, we will explain everything that you will need to know about your orthodontic treatment, so that you can choose what is best for you - no strings attached. We want to provide an educational experience so every party involved knows exactly what they are getting into and feels comfortable doing so! At this appointment the doctor will:
- Review your dental and medical history forms.
- Provide a complete oral exam, with x-rays, to determine if treatment is necessary.
- Discuss different options, what treatment they feel will be best for you and how long it will take.
- Discuss financial information, insurance options and payment plans available.
After diagnostic records are taken the three doctors in the practice will review and treatment plan the case specific to your needs. At your following appointment, the doctor or treatment coordinator will explain and review your treatment and make sure all questions have been answered before actually placing braces. The braces may be placed at the time of this consultation appointment if no other work needs to be completed. We make sure to provide a pressure free atmosphere so questions can be asked without every forcing a treatment that all parties are not comfortable with.
Visiting the orthodontist every 8 weeks is an important part of your orthodontic treatment. Regular checkups last between 20-40 minutes. Our practice will work with you to make sure that your appointments are scheduled around your busy schedule; so, you will spend less time in the dental chair and more time enjoying the things you love to do.
